This intermediate course offers a comprehensive introduction to chartwork, navigation, meteorology and basic seamanship.
Assumed Knowledge: Candidates should have previous sailing experience or have taken an RYA Competent Crew course.
Ability After Course: Theoretical knowledge and skills necessary to navigate a small yacht in familiar waters by day.
Duration: 40hrs + Exam (accommodation NOT included).
Cost: R 5,200.00 (includes RYA student pack consisting of charts, day skipper book and charts. Also includes RYA course completion certificate to be awarded upon successful exam result.)
